Daily Card Draws.

I've picked the gorgeous Bonefire Tarot by Gabi Angus-West this week, again one of my favourite decks of all time. This deck is the Schiffer version with the super glossy cards (though I also have the original self-published one too as I love it so much ). Today's card is the King of Cups, with a masterful looking man rising up out of the swirling waters around him. He holds a chalice in his hand while a fish jumps out of the ocean near him, showing his strong affinity to all things related to the element of water and how he's able to keep calm, regardless of the circumstances he finds himself in. The message here for us is to allow ourselves to be emotional and caring, but to learn from our experiences and allow ourselves to mature so that we can move on from painful and difficult situations instead of wallowing in our sadness or causing more upset to ourselves by not trying to move forwards. We're allowed to react to the circumstances that affect us, especially those we have no control over, but some can be self-inflicted and we can influence and improve them if we want. Others will fail to have a hold over us any more once we release their grasp on us, leaving us with much less issues to cope with on a day to day basis that are out of our control.
